Christine advises on the full spectrum of trade mark issues including brand selection, trade mark searches, trade mark registration and protection of local and international marks, trade mark oppositions, trade mark infringement and related enforcement and anti-counterfeiting activities. Her practice also encompasses domain name registration and protection, copyright law, trade practice issues and the protection of plant names.
Much of her work involves the management of trade mark portfolios for multinational companies. Christine joined Davies Collison Cave in 1984, becoming a partner in 1988.
Christine has long been recognised in Australia and internationally as a leading trade mark practitioner. In 2001, Butterworths Legal Profiles surveyed Australian in-house counsel, and included the following statement about Christine "She is outstanding. I think she is, if not the best, one of the best professional service providers I have ever dealt with. She's practical, thoughtful and extremely customer focused."
Presently, Christine is listed in the current editions of The International Who's Who of Trade Mark Lawyers and the Guide to the World's Leading Trade Mark Law Practitioners, both UK publications. She has been listed with other partners of the firm as one of Australia's Best Lawyers in IP by the Australian Financial Review, for five consecutive years since first published in 2008 .
