Geoff specialises in patent, design and copyright advice for electrical, electronic and computer-related products. He also provides advice in relation to litigation, licensing and confidential information. Geoff joined Davies Collison Cave in 1971, becoming a partner in 1976.

Geoff is responsible for the electrical and electronic engineering patent practice group for both local and overseas clients. Geoff travels regularly to Asia and the United States to visit clients and attend meetings in the patent field. He has lectured in intellectual property law at the University of Melbourne.
