Julian specialises dealing with patent matters (drafting, opposition work and advice on infringement and validity) in materials science, metallurgy and industrial chemistry. He has demonstrable experience handling a range of technologies from fuel cells to explosives. Julian joined Davies Collison Cave in 2000, becoming a partner in 2005.

Julian has significant experience overseas, having worked as a patent attorney in the United Kingdom for ten years. During this time, his main focus was the prosecution and opposition of European patent applications and patents.
