Andrew Caska | Trainee Attorney B.Sc BE (Mech)(Hons) M.Eng
Andrew is a trainee attorney within the Mechanical Engineering team, where he is involved in patent prosecution, patent drafting and related opinion matters. Previous to Davies Collison Cave Andrew worked as a consulting engineer. In this role he worked across a range of areas including ocean and coastal engineering, renewable energy, hydraulic and hydrodynamic modeling and sustainability.

In his masters thesis Andrew studied marine renewable energy.  His project focused on understanding the fluid-structure interaction of ocean waves with an energy device and the associated options for power conversion.  During this time Andrew also worked with a renewable energy company to aid in the mechanical design and development of their prototype technologies.

for his undergraduate thesis Andrew developed a scientific payload for a pico-satellite.  This involved the design and prototyping of a radiometric sensor with a mechanical actuated storable antenna suitable for low earth orbit.
