Grant Stonier | Trainee Attorney B.E.(Mechanical & Space)(Hons.) M.E.(Systems)
Grant is a trainee attorney within the Engineering group based in the Brisbane office, where he is involved in patent prosecution, patent validity and infringement advice, patent drafting and related opinion works.

Prior to commencing a career as a Patent Attorney, Grant worked in the defence industry as an aerospace engineer.  Working for a leading global defence and aerospace company, Grant gained experience in the areas of aircraft modifications and systems integration.  Grant also spent a year as a consulting engineer working on research and new product development projects across a diverse range of industries, gaining exposure to the development and commercialization of new products.

In 2009, Grant will commence a Master of Intellectual Property Law at The University of Technology, Sydney.
