Trailblazer is an annual innovation competition open to researchers and students at The University of Queensland. The competition, with a prize-pool worth $40,000, is designed to foster commercialisation, progress ideas, inventions or research outcomes as well as reward researchers at The University of Queensland.
7th Australian Peptide Conference
DCC is a sponsor of the 7th Australian Peptide Conference to be held in Cairns October 21 – 25 2007. The conference which is organised by the Australian Peptide Association attracts approximately 300 delegates and focuses on advances in international peptide research.

DCC is the sole sponsor of the University of Melbourne, Faculty of Law's Intellectual property chair and has done so for the past 5 years. DCC also regularly sponsors the Intellectual Property Research Institute of Australia (IPRIA) educational seminars.
IPRIA is a national centre for multi-disciplinary research on the law, economics and management of intellectual property. It is based at the University of Melbourne, and is run jointly by the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Economics and Commerce, and the Melbourne Business School.
