Leon Allen completes term as president of the Institute of Patent and Trade Marks Attorneys of Australia

Leon Allen recently completed his two year term as the President of the Institute of Patent and Trade Marks Attorneys of Australia (IPTA). Leon joined the governing council of IPTA in 1992.
During his term on council Leon has served in a number of roles including as Convenor of the Publications Committee, Convenor of the Ethics and Disputes Committee and for more than 10 years as the Convenor of the Patent Legislation Committee. Although now without a formal role Leon remains as a member of council ex officio for the term of the new President.
