Paul is a registered Trade Marks Attorney in the firm's Trade Marks group and holds dual qualifications in both Science and Law. Whilst completing his legal studies, Paul undertook a sabbatical in the UK, which included further studies in Medical Law and International IP Law.
With a science background in Psychology and Pharmacology, Paul has a particular interest in the pharmaceutical industry and has assisted prominent companies in the pharmaceutical and life science industries develop brand strategies.
Paul provides strategic advice in relation to the preparation and prosecution of trade mark applications, domestically and internationally, and assists in trade mark oppositions, removal proceedings and infringement matters.
Prior to joining DCC, Paul practiced in the intellectual property group at a top tier corporate law firm where he advised on a range of matters, including the IP aspects of corporate transactions.
