Jarrod is a member of the Trade Marks group at Davies Collison Cave. He advises on all areas of Trade Marks Law, including registration, infringement & enforcement, portfolio management and commercialisation, as well as licensing. He works across the jurisdictions of Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
Jarrod completed a double degree of a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University. He then completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Leo Cussen Centre for Law, after which he was admitted, in the Supreme Court of Victoria, to practice law. Jarrod is currently progressing through a Master of Laws, specialising in Intellectual Property at the University of Melbourne, which will also see him admitted as a Trade Marks Attorney.
Prior to joining Davies Collison Cave, Jarrod worked as a Judge’s Associate in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, working on matters in a wide range of commercial law areas, including intellectual property and consumer law.
Jarrod additionally has experience in the areas of competition law, consumer protection law, parallel importation, anti-counterfeiting, domain name protection and disputes, business name protection and Trade Mark searching.
