Davies Collison Cave expands its Trade Mark Practice
Davies Collison Cave is delighted to announce the appointment of Stuart Green as a Principal to its Trade Mark practice in Sydney. Stuart is a lawyer and Trade Marks Attorney and joins DCC from Dibbs Barker, where he was a partner and headed up that firm’s trade mark prosecution practice.
Stuart has many years of experience in all aspects of trade mark practice and law. He has worked with a wide variety of local and international clients, including some of Australia leading consumer product companies. As well as practising in Australia, Stuart has significant experience prosecuting applications in New Zealand.
Stuart noted that, “it’s a great privilege to join such a respected firm as DCC and be part of Australia’s leading trade mark practice. I am looking forward to joining a group dedicated to providing the very best trade mark services.”
In addition to Stuart’s appointment, Michelle Cooper joined DCC’s trade mark group in Sydney as a Senior Associate in January 2018. Michelle was previously a Senior Associate at a well-established Patent Attorney firm and brings a wealth of trade mark experience with her to DCC.
DCC has also expanded its trade mark services in Brisbane. Taryn Lovegrove joined DCC’s Brisbane office as an Associate in October 2017, after spending several years in the IP group of a large international law firm.
These appointments come on the back of new Principal appointments in July 2017 in DCC’s patent group, namely Alex Tzanidis and Sam Mickan, and also in Davies Collison Cave Law with Tim Creek and Miriam Zanker. Thomas Griffiths also joined our Singapore practice as a Principal from another well know Patent Attorney practice.
Adam Sears, Manager of DCC’s Trade Mark practice said, “We are very excited to welcome Stuart, Michelle and Taryn to the DCC trade mark group. These appointments underscore our commitment to the growth of our trade mark practice and the continued provision of quality services to our clients in the Asia-Pacific region.”
