IP Litigation Lawyer (4 to 5 years experience) – Melbourne Office

Davies Collison Cave Law’s intellectual property law group provides expert advice in the areas of intellectual property and trade practices litigation and dispute resolution and commercialisation.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Intellectual Property Litigator with 4 to 5 years experience to join our litigation team.  The successful candidate will have experience in all areas of intellectual property litigation including conducting litigation in the Federal and Supreme Courts.

As a member of the litigation team, you will assist a wide range of Australian and overseas clients with all types of intellectual property litigation and dispute resolution covering all areas of IP. You will also assist the trade mark and patent groups of Davies Collison Cave, patent and trade mark attorneys in disputes in the pre-litigation stage through to trial.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Laws and admitted to practice
  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in science or engineering would be beneficial but is not essential
  • 4 to 5 years Litigation (preferably intellectual property litigation) experience

In addition to your academic qualifications, to be successful in a career as an Intellectual Property Lawyer with Davies Collison Cave Law, you need to:

  • have the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

  • be committed to providing quality advice and service at all times
  • be able to readily assimilate and critically analyse information and to think laterally

You will be paid a salary commensurate with experience.
